Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika melalui Metode Problem-Based Learning

The purpose of this study was to improve mathematics learning outcomes through problem-based learning (PBL) in the material of set. The research method is classroom action research. The research subjects are 32 students registered MTs Nurussyifa Bojong Kamal. Data was collected by using a test and then analyzed using percentage techniques. The results showed that mathematics learning, especially in a set material, could improve student mathematics learning outcomes. The average value of the final test given in each cycle is increasing. The average value of the final test of mathematics learning outcomes for students in cycle I was 55,9; in cycle II is 67.8; and in cycle III is 85.9. The number of students who reached the lower achievement criteria (KKM: Kriteria Ketuntasan Minilai) also increased. In cycle I, there was 10 students as many as 31,25%, in the second cycle there were 21 students as many as 65,62% and in the third cycle, there were 31 students as many as 96,87%.
