Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are differences in student mathematics learning outcomes through learning the Snowball Throwing with the Numbered Head Together (NHT). This study used experimental research. Sampling was done by random sampling with a cluster random sampling technique, namely 2 classes with as many as 60 students in class VII SMP Trisula Bhakti, Tangerang. Based on data analysis, the average result of student learning through Snowball Throwing is 74.5, and the standard deviation is 7,312. Furthermore, student learning outcomes through NHT have an average is 68.5 and standard deviations is 8,382. Based on the hypothesis test, the value of tcount=3.037>ttable=2.002. The conclusion is there are differences in the Snowball Throwing model with NHT in integer material.
